The Langara Students’ Union (LSU) invites all Members in Good Standing to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, July 15.

Registration: 12:00 PM

The AGM is an opportunity for students to learn more about the work of the Langara Students’ Union, receive updates on the Society’s activities, services, and initiatives, and participate in decisions that help shape the student experience at Langara College. Whether you are interested in student advocacy, campus events, student services, or simply want to stay informed, all members are encouraged to attend.

During the meeting, members will be asked to consider and vote on the following Special Resolutions:

Special Resolution No. 1 – Amendment to Bylaw 4.5.1 (Quorum for General Meetings)

• To amend Bylaw 4.5.1 by reducing the quorum requirement for General Meetings from thirty (30) Members in Good Standing to fifteen (15) Members in Good Standing.

Special Resolution No. 2 – Amendment to Bylaw 6.4.1 (Maximum Number of Terms for Council)

• To amend Bylaw 6.4.1 by increasing the lifetime maximum number of terms a person may serve on Council from two (2) terms to three (3) terms.
