The Langara Students’ Union and Langara Global are pleased to invite students to celebrate Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Horse on Wednesday, February 25 at 12:30 pm in the LSU Upper Lounge.

This special event brings our campus community together to recognize and celebrate the rich cultural traditions associated with Lunar New Year, observed by many communities around the world. The program will begin at 12:30 pm, followed by a traditional lion dance performance at 1:00 pm, a vibrant and symbolic celebration meant to bring good fortune and prosperity for the year ahead.

Lunch will be served after the performance, offering an opportunity to connect with classmates, and friends while enjoying the festivities.

All students are welcome to attend. We look forward to celebrating the new year together in a spirit of community, culture, and joy.
